Update: Re-uploaded the download files
Requirements:
1. A Fat or Slim PSP
2. A USB Cable to enable connection between your computer and your PSP.
Instructions:
1. Download the screencapture pack I’ve prepared to anywhere on your computer.
2.Unzip the file you’ve downloaded.
3. Connect your PSP to your PC using a USB Cable. Check if you have already the seplugins folder on the root of your memory stick. If you don’t have it yet then proceed to step 4. If you do already have it then proceed to step 5.
4. Do this only if you don’t have the seplugins folder yet. Copy the seplugins folder from your computer to the root of your memory stick.
5. If you did step 4 then skip this step. You only have to follow this step if you already have an existing seplugins folder. Copy screenshotbmp.prx from the seplugins on your computer to the seplugins folder on the root of your memory stick. Now go to the seplugins on your memory stick. If you have vsh.txt already present, you have to open the file and edit it. Open it in Notepad or any text editor and add these code in a new line: ms0:/seplugins/screenshotbmp.prx
Check if you also have pops.txt and game.txt present on your seplugins folder in your memory stick. If you have it then do the same routine, edit it and paste that line of code in a new line. Otherwise you can just grab the game.txt and pops.txt from the file you’ve downloaded.
6. Disconnect your PSP from your computer. Now open the recovery menu. How? Turn off your PSP then turn it on again while pressing the R button. On your recovery menu, go to Plugins and enable all the screenshotbmp.prx plugins. Exit the recovery menu.
7. Try it on your XMB. Press the note button. You will know the screenshot plugin is working when an inverse color of your screen will sweep from the bottom to the top. The screenshot will be saved on your PICTURES folder on your memory stick and you can also view it by going to Photo > memory stick on your PSP.

Press the note buttone. You know the one you hold down to mute all sounds on your psp.

Problem – I have a cheat plugin for some game and it needs a game.txt file to work and so does the screenie plugin. what do i do?
i dont wanna delete the cheat plugin and i was lookin for a screenie plugin for months!

Downloading the pack gives a 3k rar with no files in it.
the file is fine, i just downlaoded it now and it seems ok. its got the seplugins folder in it..try redownloading it.
the plugins r the same names as my cxmb and popsloader plugins. i cant have them both on there what do i did?

Well, the first time I downloaded this it worked fine, but after using it for about 3 screenshots, I swithced memory cards so that I can listen to my music. then, when I switched back, It didnt work anymore. I cant find the program I origionally had, but if i hit note with the volume down button it opened a help menu, that told me what buttons to press, i could even take videos. Anywho, after it died, I dumped it and downloaded this, and it doesnt work.
I have firmware version 5.02 GEN-A (full).

How exactly do you open the recovery menu? is it possible that with newer firmware it can’t be opened that way? I’ve been holding the right shoulder button while turning it on, and it goes to the standard menu.
You need to have custom (haked) firmware installed on your PSP
and do u do that?
wheres seplugins on windows vista
seplugins is a folder on your PSP memorystick, not Vista
it only work on my XMB not on the game
YESS!! I had to enable the plugins in advanced configuration, but after that it worked perfectly!!

Hey, I was confused when I can’t find the screenshotbmp.prx in the plugins menu of recovery menu. but when I open the CPU Speed menu, I found those 3 there and was able to enabled all. Why did this happened?

Does this work on the PSP vita?
I have not tried this yet on a vista, but my assumptions say no because you need to be running custom firmware which the PSP Vista currently isn’t yet.
you can take screenshot pn your vita, jst hold the PLAYSTAION BUTTON and the STAR one (or the select instead of star)

Unfortunately no, it will only work if you are running customfirmware.

In my CFW I access the Recovery Menu by pressing select key, then it will open a small menu with RECOVERY MENU option… just choose Recover Menu that it will go there
