This is a tech demo from Square Enix titled: Agnis Philosophy. The graphics are simply stunning, granted that this came from Square Enix where we get our dose of visual ecstasy from the Final Fantasy series, this only tells us how they can still improve on these graphics. No word yet whether this demo will actually come out as a full game, but judging from the video, it’s gearing up to be a very nice present day themed Final Fantasy game. Let’s just wait for updates while we enjoy the video below.

As beautiful as this demo is, I’d be kind of worried if this was a real trailer. I guess I’m very used to the old style FF games and I feel this is deviating away from the typical JRPG ‘story’. But, it’s great to see what they can do and I look forward to seeing what new (hopefully game-play addicting) ideas they can churn out.
I agree, from the video the setting looks too real world like, it does not match the whole “fantasy” feel of the old Final Fantasy games
Lol, it’s been years and they still have not even finished FF XIII versus yet.
Good thing they have debunk the rumor that has been going around about FFXIII versus being scrapped.
