Sony has just announced that they will be releasing A new firmware update for the PlayStation Vita with Vita firmware 3.35. The update is reported to be coming along side with the release of the PS4 Firmware update 2.00.

PS Vita Firmware 3.35 Coming Soon

Included in the upcoming Vita Firmware 3.35 update is the PlayStation Live Application, what it does is that it will enable you to view streams from other PS4 players. This feature will also be available for the PS VitaTV / PS TV which will also receive a similar firmware update.

Exclusive for the Vita TV/PS TV, the expected firmware update will also include a new feature that will allow the use of the remote-play function that supports up to 4 players at once. So you and 3 of your friends will be able to play even if the PS4 is not available. We certainly hope that something like this would also be available for the PS3, especially for those who have yet to upgrade to PS4, but it’s these kinds of new features is the reason that will really help make you want to buy a PS4, so there you go.

No date has been announced by Sony yet, but more details of the Vita firmware 3.35 update to come as we wait for this firmware update to be released, so stay tuned.
