According to reports, the update has been draining some people’s batteries and has been preventing users from accessing the PlayStation Store on the Vita. Some are even reporting that their digital games doesn’t work anymore after this update, resulting to black screens and errors even after rebuilding the database.

This is not affecting not just a few people but to already a number of people, according to Jason Schreier or Kotaku, “when I tried to connect to the PlayStation Store, the screen remained on “Please wait…” for upwards of ten minutes before ultimately giving up. This morning, my battery appeared to be draining faster than it ever has.”

Some people are even joking the Sony IS really trying to kill the Vita.

So in conclusion, we advise you that NOT TO UPDATE TO VITA FIRMWARE 3.57 and wait for further developments. We’re expecting Sony to have this fixed with a new firmware update soon.
