Just when we all thought Sony has been able to completely block all PS3 spoofers from accessing PSN, here we get a new update from PS3 developer Arch with his new and update with Spoof Enabler / Disabler for firmware 4.70.

PS3 4.70 Spoof Enabler / Disabler for PS3 CFW now available

So here it seems Sony was not really able to completely block all spoofers after all. Just a few days after Sony released the PS3 official firmware 4.70, Arch has released an update to his popular PS3 firmware spoofer for the latest official firmware which is 4.70. The new version is able to bypass the 80710A06 error code that one gets when trying to access PSN using the older spoofers.

Here’s whats included in the 4.70 Spoof Enabler / Disabler changelog:

  • fixed error code connection 80710A06
  • add new CA0x.cer version 4.70
  • update spoof version to 4.70
  • Added support for CFW Rebug 4.46.1 REX only in NORMAL mode (untested)
  • Fix for CFW 4.50 CEX Standard (untested)
  • Check the health of spoof NORMAL mode only for CFW Rebug’s 4.65.x
  • Add support CFW Rogero 4.46 (compatible Cobra version, untested)
  • Fixed bug connection for CFW’s 4.66 standard

Here are the current CFW versions that are supported by this spoofer:

CEX Standard versions 4.50, 4.55, 4.60, 4.65, 4.66 and REBUG 4.65.1 or 4.65.2 (but ONLY in Normal mode)

There CFW that are unsupported though:

All CFW’s COBRA edition or below any 4.50 CFW will not work.
